The world class fights just keep on coming at Cage Rage, Murilo Rua v Mark
Weir is signed and sealed for Cage Rage 18 on September 30th at Wembley
Arena.
Murilo “Ninja” Rua has headlined and has had his last thirteen fights in
Pride, the world’s largest MMA event. This cements the working relationship
the Cage Rage Championships have with Pride FC.
As many of you know our two organisations started working together last year
and have seen a great exchange of fighters but none have been as significant
as this. Ninja is one of the world’s biggest MMA stars who has attended Cage
Rage as a corner man in the past. Ninja is really looking forward to
fighting in London as he has so many fans here.
Mark Weir is also a Pride vet and has also fought on the UFC three times and
on Cage Rage an incredible nine times. Do not blink during this fight, Mark
holds the records for the fastest knockouts in the UFC and Cage Rage, he is
one of the most explosive fighters on the planet and is the Cage Rage
British Middlewieght Champion.
“This is one of the greatest match ups that my partner Dave O’Donnell has
made” said promoter Andy Geer, “I still find it amazing that we are working
with these international stars. We started Cage Rage as fans of the sport

ever to be planned in Europe.”
On July 1st The Cage Rage Championships made a landmark move to Wembley
Arena and sold out the 6500 seats, on September 30th there will be an
amazing 8000 sears available and a sell out is inevitable.
“The atmoshpere in Wembley Arena is breathtaking, it makes the hairs on the
back of your neck stand up, it will be another night of full on fight action
