Koscheck Wants Sanchez
“Diego Sanchez,” he said without any hesitation. “I don’t like his attitude. He is too cocky. Plus, I think would be a big fight. Hey, I’d pay (UFC matchmaker) Joe Silva money to let me fight Diego Sanchez in my next fight.” “He should be embarrassed that he barely beat me when I didn’t know a damn thing [about fighting],” he proclaimed. “I lost to him by split decision on the show in a fight that could have gone either way. Everyday, I live with the fact that he is one up on me. He beat me fairly. But it won’t happen again.” “His wrestling ability is a D- compared to mine. I’m an A+,” Kos quipped. “You can’t even put us in the same sentence when it comes to wrestling. Diego relies on his wrestling to gain advantage over his opponents. He can’t play that card against me. If we went to the ground, he would be fighting from his back, not from the top position, and he isn’t the same fighter in that scenario. Sure, he is the better submission grappler. But I’ll be dropping elbows on his face when we’re on the ground. We’ll see how good his submission grappling is at that point.”
In a recent article written on UFC.tv, welterweight contender Josh Koscheck, provided some strong thoughts on fellow contender Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez.

Chuck Liddell MMA knockouts
It’s been a few months since we got to enjoy a juicy knockout from UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck Liddell.
The other day, one of our loyal visitors sent us a sick highlight reel of “The Iceman’s most memorable finishes.
This is the kinda material that gets us all pumped for the December 30 showdown between Liddell and Tito Ortiz at UFC 66.
UFC to hold tryouts for TUF 5 in Florida
Do you weigh about 155 pounds and know how to kick ass?
If so, you might want to take a trip to Hollywood, Florida, for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) casting call on December 1 at 9 a.m.
The next season of the popular reality series will feature mixed martial artists in the lightweight division. Former UFC Lightweight Champion, Jens Pulver, and former UFC Welterweight Champion, BJ Penn, are the rumored coaches.
If you can’t make it to the casting call this Friday at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, download the application right here.
FYI: UFC President Dana White, SpikeTV Senior Vice President of Sports and Specials, Brian Diamond, and executive producer Craig Piligian will oversee the tryouts.
UFC champ GSP on Adam Corolla radio program
UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre recently sat down with comedian Adam Corolla during his radio broadcast to discuss his victory over Matt Hughes. He also goes into his controversial split decision over BJ Penn.
His upbringing, training, and plugging some dude’s cornhole with his thumb to keep him out of a bar are also discussed.
You’ll see.

It’s really, really hard not to like this guy.
Tito and Jenna ‘training’ at Big Bear for UFC 66
Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz is already up at Big Bear, training for his upcoming fight at UFC 66 with current titleholder Chuck Liddell.
For years, athletes have trained some 7,000 feet above sea level in those rugged California mountains, enhancing their conditioning programs exponentially.
The trainer for Hasim Rahman, former heavyweight boxing champion, put it into perspective best:
“Training at this altitude enhances a fighter’s performance level. You go six rounds here [Big Bear], you can go 10 anywhere else.”
However, cardio is not the only advantage to training at Big Bear.
Seclusion from the outside world helps fighters get away from all the mental, emotional and physical day-to-day demands that can disrupt preparation and prevent them from being at their best.
Often, fighters will even sacrifice physical contact with their families, including nooky, for weeks on end in the run up to their matches to squeeze the most out of their regimens.
So, what’s this little lesson got to do with “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy”?
Well, he’s been up at Big Bear since before Thanksgiving and won’t return until a day or two after Christmas.
Here’s a snip from a recent (and very good) MMAWeekly.com piece on Ortiz:
“My Thanksgiving and Christmas will be on December 30 when I win my world title.”
OK, we just have one very sumptuous problem with that statement:
Can there be a bigger distraction — or energy-sapping vixen — on the planet?
We’re talking about porn goddess and love interest, Jenna Jameson, spending time with Ortiz while he’s preparing for his rematch with “The Iceman.”
Below is a photo from her MySpace site with the caption, “me and my man in big bear … nov 24 2006.”
AW!
The two are inseparable and clearly ga-ga over one another. Do you think for one minute that Ortiz can go weeks without hitting that frequently? Can she?
Who knows — we’re not between the sheets or in anyway aware of his daily routine. From his recent interviews, he’s clearly motivated and focused on recapturing the UFC light heavyweight crown.
Maybe, JUST MAYBE, all that extra cardio in the bedroom will pay off in the Octagon.
We’ll find out on December 30.
